Good sounding show but a little on the timid side performance-wise. A good sampler if you want to check the band out, though. Better stuff is out there, check out their website for weekly updates of free, downloadable shows. Good stuff!

Many jazz trios these days impress with insane amounts of technique, and end up sounding quite impressive. This one doesn't do that. Instead, all they do it crank out great groove after great groove, and that is equally impressive. Being a bass player who is brother to a drummer, I immediately noticed how tight the rhythm section is. If not for the note, you'd never know the bass player had only been in the band 2 weeks at the time. The keys are wonderful too, really making the songs go. If that's not enough, it's a soundboard feed, so sound quality is excellent. This band is certainly a welcome addition to the Archive and I can't wait for more!
